St. George Bakery
Every home has a cozy kitchen where residents can have a glass of wine and gather with friends, and that is the spirit of St. George Bakery.
St. George Bakery serves the freshly baked bread, sweet pastries, sandwiches, soups, salads, smoothies, wine - and of course fantastic coffee.
We are located on the street level of the hotel at Yrjönkatu 13. In the summertime, we also have a lovely terrace with a view to the Old Church Park.
St. George Bakery opening hours:
Mon – Fri 8 am – 6 pm
Sat 9 am – 7 pm
Sun 9 am – 6 pm
Kindly note we do not take table reservations during opening hours. If you wish to book St. George Bakery for a private event, please contact our sales office at events@stgeorgehelsinki.com.

Book & Rose Day kicks off the festive week
Book and Rose Day marks the start of St. George’s Week – and is one of its most cherished traditions. St. George Bakery is decorated with fresh roses, and this year there’s something new: the café’s very own book exchange shelf. Bring a book that has made an impression, take a new one home with you, and sample the new St. George signature pastry when you arrive. Even though the roses will eventually wilt, the thoughts and delicious memories will remain.

St. George Bakery x Forum Box: Artists Breakfast
Growth is an inner experience, a cycle of life, and a creative process that breathes in the heart of St. George. In honor of our celebration week, we invite you to pause and reflect on growth and continuity. On Monday, April 27, from 8–10 AM, an artist’s breakfast at St. George Bakery will offer a glimpse into the themes of Forum Box’s new exhibition – where each work is simultaneously both a final product and part of an eternal process of change.

St. George Bakery's May Day Eve Terrace Party
St. George's Week ends just as it should – with a joyful, bubbly May Day celebration. St. George Bakery opens its terrace and fills with festive cheer: a live DJ from 1 PM to 6 PM, handmade May Day doughnuts, and a café adorned with flowers and balloons. A new season is beginning, and it’s worth celebrating. A warm welcome to all!

Bakery Breakfast Buffet
Enjoy breakfast at St. George Bakery. Our breakfast Buffet includes vegetables, smoked pork & salmon, organic egg, freshly baked bread, butter, small sweet of the day, Bakery porridge and filter coffee or tea. Breakfast buffet on weekdays from 8–11 AM (20 €). On weekends from 9 AM–12 PM (23 €).
