Enoch Bergsten (b. 1979, Duluth, Minnesota) is an American-born visual artist who lives and works in Helsinki. He graduated from the Free Art School in Helsinki in 2008. The physical process of drawing and painting, along with their unpredictable results, plays a central role in Bergsten’s artistic practice. He works versatilely with both traditional and unconventional materials, such as ink, pigment, lacquer, and oil. He approaches everyday materials experimentally, often allowing the spreading of the material to determine the rhythm and progression of the piece. His works move between organic, abstract shapes and recurring living motifs. Borrowed imagery turns into textural, material objects, in which the conceptual content of the work emerges as a byproduct of the active drawing process.

Bergsten has held extensive solo and group exhibitions in Finland and internationally. His works have been exhibited at venues including Forum Box, TM-Gallery, and Galleria Huuto. His art is included in several notable collections, such as the Rovaniemi Art Museum's Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation Collection, the Saastamoinen Foundation, and the Finnish State Art Deposit Collection.

Stefan Bremer (b. 1953, Helsinki) is a Finnish photographic artist whose output combines a documentary eye, strong visual expression, and an interest in people and society. Bremer is particularly known for his works depicting Helsinki’s nightlife, youth culture, and subcultures. His photographs capture the urban space, people, and the spirit of the times in a way where documentarism is joined by a personal and poetic interpretation. Over the decades, Bremer has also photographed theater, music, and cultural life, as well as realized numerous artistic photography series. His works have been displayed in exhibitions in Finland and internationally, and they are included in several major collections. Bremer was awarded the State Prize for Art in 1988, and he was appointed Artist Professor in 1999. In 2011, he received the City of Helsinki Cultural Prize.

Sampo Malin (b. 1977) is a sculptor who lives and works in Riihimäki. Currently, he addresses indifference in the face of a changing world situation and the destruction of our environment in his project Sivustakatsojan kulta-aika ("The Golden Age of the Bystander"). Previous major projects include the Mark Rothko -project and Sampo's broader color theory.

Malin graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2007. He has also completed pedagogical qualifications for vocational teaching and served as a lecturer in sculpture at LAB University of Applied Sciences, among other roles. Throughout his career, Malin has held 20 solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions both in Finland and abroad. He served as the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Finnish Sculptors and as a board member of the Artists' Association of Finland from 2019 to 2023.

Pilvi Ojala (b. 1973, Helsinki) lives and works in Loppi. She graduated from the Department of Printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in 2001. In recent years, Ojala has worked on three-dimensional pieces built from paper and cardboard, combining painting with printmaking techniques. Her artistic practice is a form of study: she observes, notes, collects material, edits, summarizes, and pieces her observations together. Ojala’s works usually do not directly depict real places, people, or things, although they may contain elements derived from them. The works emerge as visual play and an immersion in the moment of making.

Ojala has held solo exhibitions since 2000 and participated in group and joint exhibitions since 1996. Her works are included in several public collections, including the Amos Anderson Art Museum, HAM Helsinki Art Museum, the Hämeenlinna and Jyväskylä Art Museums, the Finnish State Art Deposit Collection, and the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation Collection.

Pekka Pitkänen (b. 1950, Jyväskylä) is a Finnish sculptor whose art combines nature, mythology, animals, and the ancient traditions of sculpture. He is known especially for his masterful command of bronze casting, which he has developed over decades through independent work and experimentation.

Pitkänen studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki and later worked as an apprentice and close friend to the renowned Finnish sculptor Kain Tapper. In his distinctive works, strong craftsmanship blends with an archaic and enigmatic expression that reflects Finnish nature and Kalevala mythology. In addition to bronze, Pitkänen has worked with wood, leather, earth pigments, and iron sand. His works are in numerous collections in Finland and abroad. In 2025, he was invited as an honorary member of the Association of Finnish Sculptors, and he has been granted an honorary artist pension by the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) in recognition of his significant life's work in the arts.

Veera Kaamos Pitkänen (b. 1984) is an Espoo-based visual artist focusing on analog techniques. She works with paper collage, wet-plate collodion photography, bronze sculpture, and drawing. In her collage works constructed from recycled materials, Pitkänen combines Renaissance painting, contemporary scientific and artistic photography, and pornographic imagery.

Pitkänen’s works have been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, Galleria Heino in Helsinki, Galerie Pleikku in Berlin, the Särestöniemi and Palsa Museums in Kittilä, and the Art Museums of Imatra, Rovaniemi, Heinola, and Keuruu. In December 2026, Pitkänen is an invited speaker at the Ateneum Art Museum as part of the program for the exhibition Arcana Borealis – Northern Women and Esotericism.
