Train hard, recover well
The HYROX & Care Experience
High-performance HYROX training meets premium spa recovery
The HYROX race combines eight one-kilometre runs with eight functional stations, a format that calls for strength and endurance in equal measure.
At St. George Care Spa & Gym, our new bespoke experience is designed to combine high-intensity functional training with five-star contrast therapy and relaxation. Guests push their physical limits in a guided, high-energy HYROX group workout before transitioning into the tranquil environment of the spa to optimize muscle recovery, lower inflammation, and restore mental clarity through custom heat, cold, and Neurosonic therapy.
The sessions are led by Tomi Leskinen, a HYROX Level 2 Performance coach.

Meet your trainer
Tomi Leskinen is an experienced and versatile coach who knows HYROX from several sides. He has competed in official races in both singles and doubles, and has worked as a judge and head judge at events. He coaches both groups as well in person and also works with athletes remotely and online.
In the private individual sessions Tomi builds each programme from the participant’s starting level and goals, whether that is a first race, a personal best or better general fitness. His approach suits all levels and ages and takes life situation and overall load into account. He is also accustomed to coaching people whose training is limited by an overuse injury, recovery from overtraining, stress, poor sleep or the effects of menopause.

Get to know HYROX
HYROX is a fitness racing format in which eight one-kilometre runs alternate with eight functional stations. The course is built in the same order everywhere:
1 km run in between each station
SkiErg
Sled push
Sled pull
Burpee broad jumps
Rowing
Farmers carry
Sandbag lunges
Wall balls
Because the course and the order of the stations are the same at every event, the format is equally approachable for first-timers and seasoned competitors, and results can be compared from one event to the next. It can be raced alone, as a pair or as a relay team, and the pace is set by each participant.
In the HYROX & Care Experience our format serves as the starting point for a coached sessions, but always at a level that suits you. Instead of the scale of a HYROX arena, you can expect a calm, intimate space with carefully chosen equipment, coaching from Tomi and immediate access to the spa for recovery when the training is done.
