Christmas Gift Collection together with the Hope organization
Bring a gift to a child from 1–15 December
The glimpse of elves, the festive feeling, the twinkling lights on the Christmas tree, the rustling of wrapping paper. The excitement surrounding Santa Claus' visit is part of the magic of Christmas, especially for the youngest members of the family.
Together with local non-profit organization Hope, we are organizing a Christmas gift collection to keep in mind children for whom receiving Christmas gifts is not a given. Let's work together to ensure that every child receives at least one Christmas gift – the joy of giving is the greatest joy!
Bring your unwrapped Christmas gift between December 1 and 15 to our bakery café, St. George Bakery, and place it under the Christmas tree at Yrjönkatu 13, Helsinki.
How it works
Regards and instructions from Hope
- We only accept new items as Christmas gifts. Instead, are happy to accept used clothing and goods at our office by appointment.
- We ask that gifts be delivered unwrapped. Based on years of experience, we know that the contents of a package can differ greatly from its description. If you wish, you can include wrapping materials, which we will give to families along with the gifts. This also allows parents to participate in organizing Christmas for their children. If gifts are delivered to us wrapped, please note that we will open them to check the contents.
- All gift cards purchased must have the value written on them. This is important because, for example, if there are several children or young people in the family receiving gift cards, we want them to receive gift cards of approximately the same value through us.
- If the gift is a product that comes with a warranty, please attach the warranty card to the gift or, if you prefer, you can send it separately to Hope for safekeeping.
