St. George Bakery: Midnight Café 8 pm–12 am

As the August evening deepens, the glow of candlelight, enchanting music, and the warm atmosphere among friends create a magical moment at St. George Bakery.

To celebrate the Night of the Arts, you can enjoy fresh pastries, high-quality drinks, and a unique late-night vibe at our beloved bakery–café until midnight. The Midnight Café will feature a performance by talented saxophonist Johannes Salomaa, and you are free to enjoy our current art exhibition by Studio BOM: Parallel.

If you plan to visit other Night of the Arts events near by, you can also grab some treats from the café to take with you.

Wintergarden Bar: Pop-Up Cocktail Workshop at 8–11.30 pm

Tuomas Hämäläinen, Wintergarden's own two-time Finnish cocktail champion, will reveal the secrets of cocktail making during the Night of the Arts – and you can learn to make your own favorite cocktail with him.

Choose your favorite from two well-known cocktails, which you can then make in a modern version under Tuomas' guidance and with insider tips: Wintergarden Whisky Sour or Wintergarden Mojito.

DJ Mikke will also be setting the mood during the evening, and Klaus Haapaniemi & Co's Gothic Ocean exhibition will be on display at Wintergarden.

• Pop-Up Cocktail Workshop at Hotel St. George's Wintergarden Bar, Yrjönkatu 13 (access to the bar through the hotel lobby)
• Thursday, August 14, 2025, 8–11.30 pm
• 30-minute sessions led by Tuomas Hämäläinen begin at 8, 9, 10, and 11 pm with limited spots
• You can arrive without a reservation, and participants will be admitted to the sessions starting on the hour in order of arrival
• DJ Mikke will perform from 8 pm to 11.30 pm
• Participation fee is 25 € incl. instruction and the ready-made cocktail
• After the workshop, you are welcome to stay and enjoy the Night of the Arts and Wintergarden's creative cocktails late into the evening
