What is growth?

Art is a living memory at Hotel St. George – it carries with it the past eight years and reaches toward the future. This spring, at St. George Bakery, we explore growth through art: inner experience, the creative process, and forms of material and spatial development.

Curated by Forum Box, this year’s second exhibition series brings a sense of wonder at the continuous cycle of life to the café’s unhurried atmosphere. As the theme suggests: “A work of art is always both a final result and part of a continuous process of change.” This idea also encapsulates St. George’s very existence – we are in constant motion, yet we preserve the timelessness of our core.

During St. George’s Week, you have a unique opportunity to meet the artists featured in the exhibition: Petteri Cederberg, Kati Rapia, Antti Tanttu, and Nora Tapper. Amid the morning discussions, you can also find new spring pieces for your home at our sales exhibition, like fragments of growth that will last forever.

• We’ll offer our guests a cup of coffee or tea along with a small sweet treat.
• St. George Bakery’s full breakfast spread is available at regular prices all morning.
