St. George awarded Hotel of the Year

St. George was selected Hotel of the Year at Finnish Travel Gala on Friday, 4 October.

The third  annual Finnish Travel Gala was held at Scandic Marina Congress Center, Helsinki, on Friday 4 October. Finnish Travel Gala, which celebrates the year’s best travel industry achievements and phenomena, is organised by the Association of Finnish Travel Agents (SMAL / AFTA).  St. George, which opened only last year in central Helsinki, won the Hotel of the Year award. 

Quality, luxury and new ideas with a fresh touch.

The winners were selected based on mentions by the general public and the jury’s final assessment. St. George was described as one of the most interesting and ambitious hotel projects  in Finland recently:

“An impressive launch and a concept that delivers new kinds of experiences and service elements. Quality, luxury and new ideas with a fresh touch. A classy and elegant hotel with an enjoyable art collection, suitable for even the most sophisticated tastes.”

Finnish Travel Gala, which celebrates the year’s best travel industry achievements and phenomena, is organised by the Association of Finnish Travel Agents (SMAL / AFTA).  St. George, which opened only last year in central Helsinki, won the Hotel of the Year award.

General Manager Roni Huttunen sees the award as a welcome recognition of the hotel team’s pre-launch creativity and passionate ongoing effort.  

“We have put our hearts into serving our guests with endless passion and dedication.  By doing this, we have managed to renew the concept of luxury, which appeals to Helsinki residents and hotel guests alike. At Hotel St. George, moments are more,” Huttunen says.
