Summertime treats on two terraces
This summer, St. George Bakery’s freshly baked patisserie and famous sourdough bread can be enjoyed al fresco on both Yrjönkatu and the giant terrace on Helsinki’s Kasarmitori square.

Opened in spring 2018, Hotel St. George’s very own bakery cafe has already become one of the most popular cafes in Helsinki.
“We bake everything ourselves here at St. George Bakery, which you can both see and taste. We also take great care in the brewing and quality of our coffee. I believe this combination of great products and service is what our regulars have come to love,” says Johanna Sainio, Restaurant Manager at Hotel St. George.

St. George Bakery makes the Kasarmitori terrace
St. George Bakery is currently also found on the giant summer terrace of Helsinki’s Kasarmitori square, where 12 restaurants are serving their very best. Together with Hotel Lilla Roberts’s Krog Roba, it was selected to participate from a record-breaking 120 applicants.
Besides enticing breakfast, St. George Bakery and Krog Roba’s terrace menu features champagne and other refreshing drinks as well as delicious sourdough sandwiches with various fillings. The gratification is made complete by the daily patisserie special, such as a rhubarb muffin or an apple swirl.
Culinary delights are available on Kasarmitori daily until 15 August.
